Support

Ripple is a one-person app, so support is one person too. When you write in, you reach the person who wrote the code.

Get help

Email is the fastest way to reach me. X works too, by DM or mention.

I answer these myself, usually within a day or two.

Reporting a bug

Three things make a bug fixable on the first reply: your iPhone model and iOS version, what you tapped right before it went wrong, and a screenshot if you have one. If a specific story broke, paste its headline. That is usually enough for me to reproduce it.

Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

Ripple Premium is $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year, and Apple handles the money. I cannot see your card, change your plan, or issue a refund from my end.

  • To view, change, or cancel your subscription, follow Apple's instructions for managing subscriptions on your iPhone. Canceling stops the next charge and keeps Premium running until the period you already paid for ends.
  • To ask for a refund, use Apple's Report a Problem page. Apple decides those, not me.
  • Paid on another device and Premium is not showing up? Open Settings in Ripple and use Restore Purchases. If it still does not appear, email me and I will look at it.

Before you write

A few answers are already written down, and one of them may be faster than waiting on me:

  • The FAQ on the homepage covers what Ripple is, which 11 sources it carries, what personalization does and does not do, and what it costs.
  • Privacy policy covers what the app collects and why, including the profile details used to write your Ripple.
  • Terms of service covers the rules for using the app and the subscription.
  • About explains who is on the other end of this and how the app gets built.

Requirements

Ripple runs on iPhone and needs iOS 26 or later. It is on the US App Store only right now, because the news pipeline is US-sourced and the personal analysis gets noticeably worse outside it. Downloading is free and includes 3 Ripples.

Feature requests

Send them. I read every one, I build a small fraction of them, and I will tell you which pile yours landed in.
